Chaplain and Bishop's Advisor for Homelessness: Rev’d Kristian Hewett
Kristian is a local priest in Cambridge who serves as chaplain with the homeless community and leads on shaping the vision of CCHP. He is also responsible for advising the Diocese of Ely on matters relating to homelessness.
He leads on our work in chaplaincy and training and education.
He believes strongly in the power of listening to and encouraging people and is passionate about creating community across groups in society that might not normally meet.
In his free-time he likes walking, playing tennis and learning and speaking other languages.
Outreach Services Manager: Melanie Lee
Mel has seven years of experience empowering the homeless community as a trained support worker.
Since joining CCHP, she has led on engagement with our volunteers and now manages on our work in creating and co-ordinating spaces of encounter.
Mel is a ceramicist and enjoys walking in the woods. She is also a massive fan of eating good food!
