Fundraising Coffee Morning
In August 2025, CCHP co-created with our fabulous volunteers a fundraising coffee morning at the Church of the Good Shepherd in aid of local homelessness day centre Wintercomfort.
A team of housed and unhoused volunteers prepared delicious selection of baked goods in advance to share with the congregation.
Cakes, biscuits and cupcakes were on the menu!
As the cakes were served and enjoyed between over 80 people on the Sunday morning, there was a friendly atmosphere of conversation, connection and community.
A highlight for many people was the speech delivered by one volunteer, during the service, which helped listeners to empathise with people living through homelessness by sharing a short poem entitled “What if?”
£450 was raised at the coffee morning. Well done and a big thank you to all involved!
