Many of our friends in the homeless community tell us that they feel “invisible” or “like an animal” spending time on the streets. Our Christian faith teaches us that every person is made in the image of God, and that individuals and their stories are precious to God. In all we do, we seek to raise up and listen to the voices of people who have so often been silenced and shunned. We laugh a lot as we share and marvel at what life puts in front of us, from the sublime to the ridiculous, and we give thanks to God for the good things he shows us along the way.
